Presidents Comments

Hey All,
Well, the Dept. President's visit, District Meeting and Mid-Winter is over and now it's time to start up again to finish out this year.
Dept President Cleo enjoyed her time with District 21 even though she was a little under the weather.
Auxiliarty 8235 did a wonderful job throwing the Luncheon together an what a showing of "Working Together" as other Auxiliaries came in giving a hand in putting this Luncheon together. I can't THANK everyone enough. It was the BEST and you make me proud to serve you as your District President. If you were unable to attend you missed it. Same with the District Meeting, we had to do some last minute changes although it went together with no hitches. We missed those of you who were unable to attend and hope to see you at the next meeting in May.
If you deid't make it to Convention you missed meeting the National President Jan Tittle. She is an inspiration, full of energy and very strong in her feelings, concerns and beliefs for our Veterans.
We are in "full steam ahead" to complete our year. At this time we need to a little more steam to getting the remainder of projects completed and membership needs just a little more to make that 100%. The reports on projects that I have seen have been great. Remember, that Year End Reports are due by April 10th to me and I will forward a copy to the Dept. Chairmen no later than April 19th as they are due to them by April 20th.
As everyone knows, we lost one of our most valuable asset in District 21 our beloved Jean Wirt. All Program Participation Reports should be sent to me.
We have set a momentum that needs to be kept up. Now is not the time to quit, keep up the great work that you do and BELIEVE in what you do. Make sure that there are no new members left alone as they need that friendly and caring smile to know that they are needed in helping us to achieve our success in helping our most Valuable Treasures-our VETERANS.
Mark your calendars for the May 16th meeting in Grapevine.

BELIEVE AND CELEBRATE!!!!!

Always Loyal,
Donna Prestidge
District 21 President
