VFW Membership Interactive Form from National Web Site
Explains the requirements for joining the VFW

Use the form in item one below to join a local VFW Post.
The form on the national site is only for National Membership at Large.

To become a member:

1. Print and complete this form (http://texasvfwdistrict21.org/vfwmembership.htm) (after printing the application form, press your browser back button to return to this page)
2. Attach copies of documentation proving your eligibility. (If you do not have your "Form DD-214)
   then click here to file for one on the "National Archives" website that comes up. Follow instructions for using eVetRecs Request System.
3. Go Back to this site's Home Page and click the "Post" link. Choose a VFW Post from the table
   on that page and call the number for the Post that you choose in order to get further instructions.

Where this application is received and processed prior to August 1, membership is credited to the current calendar year. Applications received after August 1 will be credited to the next year.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars reserves the right to disapprove applications and to require further proof when it is necessary to prove eligibility.

Members-at-Large may apply for transfer of membership to a local post at any time!
