COMMANDER’S COMMENTS:

Comrades, thank you for your entries for the VOD, Patriots' Pen, Public Safety, and Teachers Awards. These deadlines are behind us.

Now comes the time of the year when we must start making every attempt possible to get new members and encourage our annual members to pay their dues.

Post quartermasters, please remember the quarterly audit is due before the end of January. Try to get them in right after the 1st. (Please)

Our District meeting will be on the 4th of January at post 8235. Our Department Rep will be the State Commander, himself. The Ladies Auxiliary Department President will also be there.

Post Commanders, as per the by laws this meeting is mandatory. Either you or a Rep from your post is REQUIRED to attend.

Keep in mind the Mid-Winter Roundup in Austin is right around the corner (Jan 26-29). If you plan on attending, please make your reservations asap. It is filling up quick.
