President's CommentsHello Ladies, The start of 2012 is here already and we are ready! All of the inspections, visits, and programs that were due are all on time and in to Department. We have made the 91% membership so I get to go to the dinner at mid-winter….HURRAH! January is full of VFW stuff……Dates to remember: 12th, Sharon Hilton, our Dept. President, is due to arrive at La Quinta in Bedford. 13th, she is to have lunch at the new VA in Ft Worth and tour the facilities. 14th, Post 4695 will host a luncheon for her at 1:00 and all are welcome to attend. Price for a full meal is $8.50. (Chicken, pasta salad, ham/scalloped potato, green beans, dessert, tea/coffee). After Sharon relaxes we are taking her to a Mexican restaurant in Bedford. 15th, is our regular District meeting at Post 5617. January 25th thru 29th is Mid-Winter in Austin. February is the month of love, so go out and love your veterans!!!!! Do the programs that are due this month and remember your audits…….:) as always, if I can help in any way please contact me!
